Hi Ambuj,

The admission procedure is tough for IITs. Entrance exams are first step of the procedure. The entrance exam required to crack to get an admission in IITs are-

  • JEE Advanced(for B.Tech)
  • GATE (for M.Tech and Ph.D)
  • CEED(for M.Des and Ph.D)
  • UCEED (for B.Des)
  • JAM (for M.Sc.)

So, for qualifying or JEE Advanced to have to clear JEE Mains. Hope it's clear.

All the best!!

Hello,

If you want to get admission in IITs then you have to first apply for jee mains and clear it's cutoff atleast to apply for jee advanced. If you can't clear cutoff marks for jee mains then you can't apply for jee advanced.

So try to atleast score more than 100 marks(varies every year) in jee mains to appear for jee advanced.

Good luck.
