In All India counselling, under OBC category does the rule for creamy and non-creamy layer exist? will creamy layer be considered under general category?
Hello aspirant
See Basically the difference between these two creamy and non creamy layer is of the annual income of theirs. So if your annual income is more than 8 laks per annum you came under creamy layer and this creamy layer is considered as general category.
And if your annual Income is less than 8 lakh per Annum then you came under non creamy layer and you'll be getting treated as OBC candidate.
Hope it helps!
Thank you!
There student,
there are two types of OBC category.
- OBC (non- creamy layer) - For this category your parents annual income should less than 8 Lakhs so that you can counted as a non-creamy layer OBC.
- OBC (creamy layer) - If your parents income more than 8 Lakhs then you will be counted as a creamy layer OBC and they treated as a general category in most of the entrance exams.
Hope you understand, good luck :)
