Computer engineering and computer science engineering are two terms which are used interchangeably in the Indian academic context. Although computer engineering and computer science are very different areas, computer science engineering and computer engineering are increasingly being used to refer to the same subject matter in India. In terms of jobs and salaries, both types of engineers are eligible for the same jobs and are treated equally by prospective employers. Theoretically, computer engineering is more focused on hardware whereas computer science engineering encompasses an equivalent study of both hardware and software.

It is same only. Just like the sentence : I want to eat the biscuit or we can also say that the biscuit is eaten by me. The meaning is same only in which CSE is the department in the B.E Degree or we can also that computer engineering. Overall the meaning is same only , don't worry about that.
