Engineering colleges in Chennai will open for fresher's once the counselling process is done.
As per TNEA's tentative counselling schedule, the starting dates for
- Publication of rank list- 4/9
- Special reservation Counselling process - 7/9
- General Counselling - 14/9
- Supplementary Counselling - 12/10
- SCA to SC counselling- 18/10
- Counselling ends- 20/10
TNEA counselling ends on 20th of October (Tentatively). So, after the counselling process, Anna University announces the date for starting the classes for the first years. For freshers the college may open at the end of October or starting of November.
