Greeting Aspirant,
Since you're in class 12 now, you have a complete year to prepare for your CPT which is more than enough.
If you've registered yourself, you might have received the study materials by ICAI, which is very much helpful in Preparing for CPT. You can register last for CPT before 6 months.
You have 4 subjects to study in CPT from which completely objective type questions will be asked in the exam-
1. Accountancy (60 marks)
2. Mercantile Laws (40 marks)
3. General Economics (50 marks)
4. Quantitative Aptitude (50 marks)
Required passing percentage currently is
Accounts: Clarity of concepts is a must & for this, 11th-12th accounts will do.
Mercantile laws: It will be a new subject for you but it is very simple & interesting. Use self notes, charts, bullet points, etc. for it.
General Economics: It will be of 11th-12th standard. Important figures in the macro economics part are required to be learned.
Quantitative Aptitude (Maths+ statistics): If you have maths in 11-12th then just study that or else you may join separate classes for Maths. Statistics part will be of 11th standard economics.
Hope My Answer Helped You.
Best Of Luck For Future.
