In comedk entrance exam other state people have preference getting rank equal to Karnataka people...is it true ??? Please tell?

I would say that getting a rank in comedk is exam is quiet easy. It is one of the easiest entrance for engineering, with very less competition. But yes there is a quota for students from home state , but only in the cut off of colleges , the rank you secured had nothing to do with the state you belong.
