Let take BBA first
- It is a three years professional bachelors degree in management.
- It consists of human resource management, marketing, finance, accounting etc.
- About placements it can vary from college to college lets say if you're graduating from IIM Indore, there BBA placements in 2021 was 210+.
About BCA
- It is a three years technical degree, where you learn analytical, statistical concepts that is useful in a business field.
- Considering a good college you can get a nice job with decent pkg.
Conclusion : More than average people prefer BBA over BCA, but both fields are unique and crucial in their own ways.

Both BBA and BCA are career launching courses for graduate level degrees and open the doors for great careers in many industries. However, you should choose a course based on your likings, career goals and competencies.
Thats depend on what you want to do after the degree. If it is completely into management or Business then go for BBA / MBA later on.
If you want to work into IT industries in any domain such as Software programming, development, Linux, Windows Server Networking etc, then go for BCA / MCA.
Both of these will give you pretty much of theoretical understanding and motivation even before you start your career as a fresher.
