In constitiutional isomers structural formula is different or same in organic chemistry class11
Hello,
Constitutional isomers are those isomers which have the same molecular formula but different structural formula. It is because of the different arrangements of atoms present in the compound. Different arrangement of atoms gives these compound a different structure. This is the reason why these isomers are also called structural isomers. For example, Butane and Isobutane are constitutional isomers because they have the same molecular formula but different structural formulas.
Hope this helps!
