In CSAB counselling, I have to pay for the registration fee(35000) and seat acceptance fee(35000). Another 40000 should be paid for the partial admission fee. Should I really have to pay this much? or the fees have been somewhat discounted?

Dear student,

If you got allotted any seat in josaa round counseling, then you can accept it by paying the seat acceptance fees of Rs. 35000 ( general/ews/obc) or Rs. 15000 ( for sc/st/pwd).

Now, this year, as a part of the admission process in NIT+ System, it is mandatory for each candidate to pay PARTIAL ADMISSION FEES during 9th to 13th, November, 2020, who has accepted his/her seat in one to six round of josaa counselling, and wants to retain his/her allotted seat . For this you have to login to your account on JoSAA portal and must pay the partial admission fee, otherwise the allotted seat will be cancelled and treated as vacant.

Now this partial admission fees is Rs. 40000 ( for general/obc/ews ) and Rs. 20000 ( for sc/st/pwd).

Now, if you do not pay PARTIAL ADMISSION FEES before 13th November 2020, then your seat will be treated as CANCELLED.

Now, even if your seat is cancelled, then also your can participate in csab special round covering l counseling, and if you retain your seat then also you can participate in csab special round counselling.

Now, for participating in csab special round counselling, you have to give a participation/registration fees of Rs. 36500 ( for general/obc) or Rs. 16500 ( for sc/st/pwd).

Now, if you have not got alloted any seat in josaa counseling, or your seat is cancelled by not paying seat acceptance fees , and got alloted an seat in csan special round counselling, and if you accept it then you have to pay Rs. 35000 ( for general/obc) as seat acceptance fees or Rs. 15000 ( for sc /st/pwd).

Now if you have got alloted any seat in josaa counseling and you have paid you seat acceptance fees, and if you got alloted any seat in csab special round counseling and you accept it, then in that case you don't have to pay the seat acceptance fees, because you have already paid once in josaa.

Now, if you have paid the seat acceptance fees but not paid the partial admission fees, and you got alloted any seat in csab special round counseling, and if you accept it, then also you don't ahev to apy the seat acceptance fees, because you have already paid once.

So, in csab special round counseling, you don't have to pay the partial admission fees.
