Hello dear student,
As you said you are pursuing diploma right now and you want to know the marginal marks with which you can pass the semester. So basically the passing percentage is is regulated by the university in which you are pursuing the diploma every Institute have their own passing percentage semesterly . But according to the general rule student should get Atleast of 28 marks out of 70 marks in theoretical paper and in total that is out of 100 he or she should get 40% marks to pass the subject . I hope the information provided to you is helpful to you.
I hope this helps and thank you.
Best wishes
