Hi Santhosh,
DTU and NSUT are premier engineering colleges in Delhi and every year thousands of students get admitted to various branches offered by these Universities.
Now, if you are asking for choice preference, then the obvious answer is to first decide which branch are you interested in pursuing.
However, frankly speaking, if you are more inclined towards the civil side of engineering then go for: Civil then Mechanical then Mechanical with specialization.
But if you want to pursue the mechanical side the fill Mechanical first. It should be your choice and try to go through youtube videos or syllabus of these branches which may help you decide your preference.
Also, if you are only interested in better placements, then visit these colleges' websites and check their placement records and then choose your preference.
Good luck!
Hi Santosh,
Both of the institutes are very reputed colleges and some students just go for any branch at all to just get into the college. See it should be more of a question for yourself if all of the branch you asked are under your reach. Whatever your inclination are, just go with that. If you want to compare the branches like Mechanical and Civil they both are quite different and will take you on two different routes of your career. Both of the branches have immense future and opportunites specially in PSUs etc. Since you are doing it from institutes like DTU and NSUT, you are destined to have good exposure and opportunites in any of the branch. Mechanical with Automative have a slight edge over ME. But it is just an extension to it. So choose wisely.
Good luck !!
