Admission to Delhi University will he based on your percentile of 4 best subjects score combined and not the overall aggregate Percentage that you have scored in your qualifying examination. The subjects that you count in best of four are dependent on the course you choose. There are certain rules that are set By DU to help students calculate best of four percentage.
- One language is compulsory (English/Hindi)
- One academic/elective subject in which you wish to take admission
- The rest two academic/elective subjects should be mentioned in LIST A and LIST B provided by DU in it's Bulletin of information. Any subject included that isn't mentioned in these lists will lead to 2.5% deduction of marks each.
Good Luck

You need One language subject, one cour subject(chemistry in your case) and the rest of two subjects you can choose at your benefit. It can be PE, IP or any other subject in which you have scored maximum marks.
