In EEE and ECE Is the electronic course completely common. Is EEE good for M.tech robotics?
Hello Hari,
This shows you arent clear with the scope of both, Let me help you
If you take all the current development as a wholistic picture there is over 3x increase in demand for EC engineers per yer. And it has been increasing exponentially. Hardware, Firmware and software are being more and more integrated and interdependent with one another.
As things are becoming smarter and smaller, the need for better VLSI engineers is ever increasing. With advent of Communication techinques, there is a lot of demand in the telecom industry.
It’s just that most EC engineers used to go with the herd. IT companies hire from every domain. I know Civil and Mech grads who are working in IT. I know BCA/MCA people who are working in IT. Most of the vanilla IT work is not degree dependent unlike most core jobs. Only if you want to scale up the corporate ladder would you need deeper technical and managerial skills.
EEE
EEE/EE allows you to have benefits of
Mechanical,Civil,CSE & ECE branches in the Long run.You Decide what
you want in your Life(Assuming Before Age 32/30 for GENERAL CANDIDATES )
Opportunites for EEE:
- A Graduate in EEE can go for Diverse fields whether it is PSU Job,Core Sectors like Construction & Steel,IT Industry,Consultancy/Finance Job,Electronics Design and a myriad of Profiles like Business Development Associates,Content Development Manager etc.
- It gives you Opportunities to explore Consultancy Domains,Eligibility to Write UPSC IES(Indian Engineering Services),Opt for Electrical Engineering paper as Optional in UPSC IAS
- You can also appear for PSUs like AIRPORT Authority of INDIA where Electrical & Electronics Students are allowed along with ECE students for post of Junior Executive(Electronics). That means if you are only BE/Btech in Electrical Engineering You are not Eligible to Fill the Form unless you are BE/Btech in ECE,EEE. (Status as on 09-OCT-2015)
EEE is almost similar to Electrical Engineering(Although Difference Exist in Courses of Curriculum of different Universities). It is not a CAKEWALK particularly if you HATE Fouries Series,Laplace Transforms,DTFT and Other Mathematical Tools.
