I think this is a sensitive topic but needs more awareness. How can you categorise a student's performance based on the Category he/she belongs to? How can you be so sure that you are not the one who would not be motivated enough to study to get good score. If you look at the cut offs, OBC/SC/ST have the same qualifying cut offs. This has got nothing to do with the Category of the student and please do not make it one. It is about your mindset and that needs to be changed. A Candidate belonging to the Reserved Categories have to toil as much as a Candidate belonging to General Category to score good. Because qualifying marks cannot get a seat. And once they join a Medical College, they not only have to study on par with other Category Candidates but also have to constantly prove themselves that its their hardwork that has brought them where they are today and its not their reservation. Remember Dr. Payal Tdvi who gave up her life because she couldnt face the continous criticism from her colleagues who apparently belong to different communities? This should be an awakening call to the rest of us.You do not get to categorise someone's intellectual capacity based on their Category. That is absolutely wrong. And if you are planning to study to become a Doctor and a good one at that, this is what you need to improve yourself on. Regarding group study, unless you have that caste and racial discrimination, there is really no bar for having Candidates of other Categories. These groups are self assigned by students and it is not mandatory. So if you want to study alone as well, you can. But a sincere advice for you would be not to judge a book before even looking at its cover.
