In government medical college I want to study MBBS but how much I got marks in neet for study government medical colleges
NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
The score needed to get admission in any medical college depends on many factors like cutoff for the year, your state and category. You have the greatest chances of getting admission in medical college of your state as the 85% seats of any state are reserved for the candidates belonging to that state, leaving only 15% of the seats to be filled by the all India quota. Besides the cut off for each year keeps varying which will decide your NEET rank. So work hard, Keep target of achieving at least a score of 600. Rest will be done.
Hope you understand,
Thank you
The Cutt off marks of Neet is normally 550 to get the government seat for every category . We cannot say the exact marks for every category because the cutoff is increasing every year after year . still the safe marks for the categories are :-
Sc - 450 and above
St - 400 and above
OBC - 480 and above
hope you find it helpful
This depends upon your category as well your mode of counseling, if you take state level counseling and you're a domicile of that state you can get government colleges even in low marks but for All India Quota you're marks should be good enough for admission in government college. A general category student needs to have minimum of 500 marks to get government college in state level counseling whereas in AIQ it needs more than 600 marks to get a good college.
Hope it helps.
Thank you.
