In govt polytechnic for girls,Ahmedabad college, do they explain in English or Gujarati?

Yes of course. In government polytechnic college they do explain in hindi and english. But if it is difficult to you for understand gujarati then my suggestion is to say it to your teacher immediately. Mostly for respect to all the students teachers do speak in english sometimes they use local language but you should always raise your voice whenever you feel difficulty.

Eventhough the medium of communication is English in many schools and colleges, the way of teaching depends on the person who handles the subject and the level of understanding of the students.

Some may explain it in a language that is comfortable for them as well as the students.
