In order to get admissiions in JNU , you need to attend the entrance test. TO be elligible ,you need to pass 10+2+3 minimum level of education. Getting a hons degree should not affect your admissions for MA. along with that , you are expected to have passed the B.Sc degree with minimum 50% aggregate. Also , in 10+2 level , you need to have studied mathematics at 10+2 level , it is mandatory.

MA in economics is a full time programme of two years study span. Each year is divided into two semester where a student would be studying nine core subjects and seven optional subjects with c4 credits each.
If you are rooting for Jaipur national university, There is no MA in economics , but there is MA in sociology.
