Dear Mahak, for pursuing MA in Economics, you should have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% in the following subjects:

• Economics (Hons) with Mathematics as a subsidiary subject.
• Statistics (Hons) with Economics and Mathematics as subsidiary subjects
• Any other Bachelor's degree with Economics and Mathematics as subjects with 60% aggregate.

So you should have Mathematics or Statistics as additional subjects to apply for MA Economucs at JNU.

According to peer reviews, JNU, , Jawaharlal Nehru University, is one of the best for studying MA in economics.
Jawaharlal Nehru University offers MA in economics. They have a Centre for economic studies and planning in which thety provide MA, M.Phil as well as PhD in economics and planning.

SO far , its been in top 15 universites for study in economics.

In order to get admissiions in JNU , you need to attend the entrance test. TO be elligible ,you need to pass 10+2+3 minimum level of education. Getting a hons degree should not affect your admissions for MA.
along with that , you are expected to have passed the B.Sc degree with minimum 50% aggregate. Also , in 10+2 level , you need to have studied mathematics at 10+2 level , it is mandatory.

Admissions is completely on basis of the JNUEE , which is the all india entrance exam.

MA in economics is a full time programme of two years study span. Each year is divided into two semester where a student would be studying nine core subjects and seven optional subjects with c4 credits each.

If you are rooting for Jaipur national university, There is no MA in economics , but there is MA in sociology.
