in gujcet only gseb syllabus is needed or cbse also..? can cbse students score good marks in gujcet?
Hello Pushpendra,
First of all do not worry at all. I hope that you have given the JEE mains examination this year. So you should feel quite relaxed right now as the major examination is over.
Now GUJCET (according to me) is comparitively easier than JEE Mains, as it asks questions from the class 12th syllabus. And also some questions are from the PCM textbooks of class 12th GSEB board. So, I will recommend you to purchase books of class 12th PCM GSEB board. Some questions might be similar to the textbook questions.
And if you are a CBSE Board student, then you can refer to your own CBSE textbooks also. No worries at all. Do practice of MCQs which will help you a lot. Revise all the concepts of class 12 thoroughly so that you can have benefits during the exam time.
Also, solve previous years GUJCET papers to see how much you are scoring and analyse your performance. This is the most important tip. Solving previous years paper would give you an idea that of how much difficulty the paper can come.
And you know that what is the plus point being a CBSE student, you can apply your brains. CBSE students are trained in that way only. And be stress free and calm. No need to worry. Gujcet is definitely easier than JEE mains. Have faith in your preparation. Everything will be good.
I am listing you the names of some books which you may refer to :
- For Biology read and digest each word of NCERT book.
- For Physics : Read the book by HC VERMA.
- For Maths : RD Sharma is the best option.
- For Chemistry : NCERT is itself more than enough.
Hope this helps!!
All the best :)
