Hello Aadya, you can appear for those subjects only for which you have enrolled in your previous exam. Means those subjects you allready gave, only those subjects you can select.

The only criteria is the candidates has the pass all the exams the student failing in any of the subject is not elligible for improvement exam

You can give an improvement in all the five subjects. You also have a choice to give an improvement in anyone. But above all the improvement should be given only in the successive year of passing your examination. You cannot appear for improvement in one exam and additional subject examination simultaneously.
