In improvement exam all subjects are compulsory or only the subjects we want to give?

For improvement exam you can give exams of the subjects from which you are not satisfied. You should have passed all the exams if you are failed in any subject you can't give improvement exam and you can not start any higher studies course you have to give exam as a dropper
