In Information technology and in Electronics and Communication engineering, the courses are almost same or totally different?
Hello madhur,
I understand your concern and I am here to help you regarding your query !
So, basically, the information technology and Electronics and communication engineering are entirely different from each other. Information technology is something which deals with computers, internet, protocols, etc.., whereas Electronics and communication depends on the Electronic devices and circuits, also it includes power systems also. So, they are nit similar and might be similar to 10% that too in the beginning semesters.
Hope this helps !
All the very best !
Hello student,
Here is a difference between IT & ECE.
ECE focuses more on the circuits- ICs, microprocessors, etc that create the magic behind a working device.Organizations usually hire CSE engineers for the same.
IT focuses on the languages- Java, C++, Python, the list is endless. That doesn’t mean IT graduates don’t learn about hardware, but their focus is more towards learning to write programs.
IT is basically based on software works ,its primary focus is on coding, hacking creating suitable softwares ,computing etc, Whereas EC is basically focuses on devices like analog electronicss focuses on amplifier,hi fi amp.
The Scope
In India, IT is one of the fields in demand, Candidates from top universities and from IIT’s, NIT’s and BIT’s get paid exorbitantly. It involves jobs in software development, web designing, software testing and much more.
Electronics and Communication specialists can work in both private and public firms. A degree in this field develops candidate’s analytical and programming skills, which makes you compatible for even software companies.
Cheers!
