In internship you generally don't get paid for work instead your skills are polished and you are prepared for taking up bigger tasks later on in jobs. Whereas in a job you get paid for the work you do. While hiring you for a job , they look for the skills and qualification.

For most of the cases, there are stipends available for the internship. The stipends are not that much as compared to the salaries but its quite good as you get paid for earning your experience. In many cases, if you have good performances in your internship you can get placed in that company as an employee. So if you get internship opportunity then do opt for it because at the end of the day what matters is your skill. So try to acquire industrial skill as much as you can in order to secure a good career ahead.

I hope this answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!
