In IPU, Mathematics is not a compulsory subject for admission to B.Com course. You must secure 50% as an aggregate in 10+2 or SSC exam under CBSE board or equivalent. You must have pass marks in 5 subjects(4 elective subjects+ one language).

In IPU, Mathematics is compulsory for admission to BCA. English is also a complete subject. You must pass 10+2 from a recognised University with a minimum of 50% in the qualifying examination. If you are appearing for the qualifying examination, you can apply for this course. You should have Computer Science / Informatics Practice / Computer Applications / Multimedia & Web Technology / Data Management Application / Web Application as a compulsory subject with 50 theory and 50 practical ratio. If you have completed a 3 year diploma in Engineering from an AICTE approved course and from a recognised institute with 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination, you can apply to this course.

The eligibility criteria for BCom Hons is passed 10+2 from a recognized board having studied five subjects that is four elective and one language subjects securing 50% aggregate, there is no compulsory requirement of having studied mathematics,

next the eligibility criteria for BCA is passed 10+2 from a recognized board with 50% aggregate, passed English as core/elective/functional, Mathematics or Computer Science / Informatics Practice / Computer Applications / Multimedia & Web Technology / Data Management Application / Web Application as compulsory subject 50 theory and 50 practical ratio, or passed three year diploma in Engineering from a polytechnic institute approved by All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to a recognized examining body with a minimum of 50% aggregate,
