The change in category in both the application forms will create an issue because when the final merit list is out, even though NTA will consider your best of two but your marks too will be normalised with other candidates' scores based on your category.
As you know, if you fill up your candidature under the general category then you are not entitled to any reservation, therefore, your scores will be calculated likewise. Whereas if you apply through OBC NCL then your scores will be calculated likewise. This might raise a question on your application altogether.
