Correct Answer: 64,960
Solution : Let her monthly salary be $x$. Kriti's EMI was 22% of her monthly salary. $\therefore$ Remaining salary = $0.78x$ Spending on groceries and clothes was in the ratio of $7:5$. Money spent on clothes = $\frac{5}{12} \times 0.78x$ According to the question, $\frac{5}{12} \times 0.78x = 18200$ $⇒x = 56000$ Her salary increased by 16%. $\therefore$ Her new salary $=56000 + \frac{16}{100}\times 56000 = Rs. 64960$ Hence, the correct answer is 64,960.
