In jee advanced eligibility criteria 2020,every candidate should have appeared for class 12th standard qualifying in 2019 or 2020,for first time. here,what is the meaning of first time?

As per the rules, the number of attempts of JEE Advanced is 2 ,and that too for two consecutive years which means if you appear for the first time in the exam in 2020 then you will only have a last chance in 2021 and if you have appeard in 2019 then you can appear only in 2020.
So, that means a candidates must have cleared their 10+2 or equivalent examination in 2019 or 2020.

passed out with 86%.so in my case i appeared two times in 12 th.but i passed out in 2019.so am i eligible jee advanced 2020?
