Total figure of candidates appeared for JEE-Main 2021 will be released by NTA after the completion of all 4 sessions. But on the basis of previous year's cut-off trends we can help you with the expected qualifying cut-offs for this year :-
- Common Rank List (CRL) - 90- 95 Percentile
- GEN-EWS - 70- 75 Percentile
- Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 70- 75 Percentile
- Scheduled Caste (SC) - 50- 55 Percentile
- Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 40- 45 Percentile
- PwD - 1-2 Percentile
So if you are from General category then you should aim for at least 90+ percentile in JEE-Main 2021.

As per the information we have NTA recieved 22 Lakh applications in total (Total Applications in all sessions) but the unique candidates count is not yet revealed so by going through previous years candidates count you can expect around 10 -12 lakh unique candidates attempting JEE MAIN every year .
According to the information provided in JEE ADVANCED official website to be eligible to write JEE ADVANCED Examination you should be among the top 2,50,000 candidates (including all categories) in JEE Main 2021 and have atleast 75% aggregate marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD) in 12th standard (10+2).
