Hello Aspirant,

Total figure of candidates appeared for JEE-Main 2021 will be released by NTA after the completion of all 4 sessions. And the qualifying cut-off percentiles which needs to be cleared by any candidate to sit in JEE-Advance is released along with the final result of JEE-Main so we have wait for some more time because the final result will be released after all four attempts will be completed

But on the basis of previous year's cut-off trends we can help you with the expected qualifying cut-offs for this year :-

  • Common Rank List (CRL) - 90- 95 Percentile
  • GEN-EWS - 70- 75 Percentile
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 70- 75 Percentile
  • Scheduled Caste (SC) - 50- 55 Percentile
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 40- 45 Percentile
  • PwD - 1-2 Percentile

So if you are from General category then you should aim for at least 90+ percentile in JEE-Main 2021.

Note that in above table it is not the actual cut-off for JEE-Main 2021 but expected on the basis of previous year's analysis. You can check out previous year's cut-off trends from the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

Dear Aspirant,

As per the information we have NTA recieved 22 Lakh applications in total (Total Applications in all sessions) but the unique candidates count is not yet revealed so by going through previous years candidates count you can expect around 10 -12 lakh unique candidates attempting JEE MAIN every year .

According to the information provided in JEE ADVANCED official website to be eligible to write JEE ADVANCED Examination you should be among the top 2,50,000 candidates (including all categories) in JEE Main 2021 and have atleast 75% aggregate marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD) in 12th standard (10+2).

To get the the category wise distribution details of this top 2,50,000 candidates copy paste the link provided below on to the web browser:

http://www.jeeadv.ac.in/eligibility.php

Estimating actual JEE ADVANCED 2021 cutoffs without knowing the toughness of paper and number of students attempting the Examination is difficult so, you can go through previous year JEE Advanced cutoffs for an estimate:

If you are from general category you can expect cutoffs to fall in a range of 90-95.
