Hi Vivek,
For NITyou should score 95+ percentile.Whether you get a seat or not is totally depends upon your category.
If you belongs from General category then its very difficult for you to get any seat in NITs.
If you belongs from OBC or SC or ST category then you may get a seat in NITs .But not in top NITs because for that you have to score 98+percentile.
In lower category NITs also you will not get top branches like CSE or EEE or ECE you will get branches like biochemical,architecture,pharma etc.
