Hi

In josaa counselling your CRL is considered if you belong to open category and not your category.

Here's the detail:-

  • CRL  i. e common rank list  rank / overall rank. Crl is considered for josaa counselling in case of general/open category students.

  • For OBC /SC /ST and EWS :-   If you belong to ews/ obc / sc/st then your category rank is considered in josaa counselling.

  • pwd category :- For pwd category, respective pwd category rank is considered. For example, obc ncl pwd category rank in case of obc ncl pwd candidate, general pwd rank in case of general pwd Candida and so on.

In order to get a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below

---------) Reporting the report centre :- You have to report to the reporting centre to get your documents verified. You need to carry your original documents along with 2 copies of xerox of each.

---------) admission confirmation :- Finally you have to report to the alloted college  by at least the time of last date of reporting for the college mentioned on seat allotment letter for admission confirmation.

Hello Aspirant,

For Open category your CRL rank is considered only. See open category is meant same as of General/Unreserved category so if you deserve any reserved category quota then you should not sit under Open quota only General/Unreserved category students should sit under Open quota counselling and seats are allotted on the basis of their CRL ranks.
