In kcet counselling, if I want to wait for extended round, will i have to give up on the seats i get in 1st and 2nd round? similarly, will I have to give up on 1st round seats to go to 2nd round of counseling ?

No, you have to fill your choices according to your favor. Seats are automatically upgraded as the counselling rounds passes.

Suppose you get the second choice in first round of counselling. You will get the first choice of your preferred list in second round if you are eligible for it.

Similarly for the extended rounds also, the target is to gain your first choice. The counselling system has been programmed like that.
