In kcet option entry process if we get both medical and engineering seat. how can we cancel the engineering seat. will it cost money. Pls explain the process.?? #karnataka.

Hey aspirant,

First of all, as far as KCET is considered, you will only get admission for engineering, agriculture & farm sciences, B.Pharm and Pharm D courses. You will be allotted seats based on your cutoff and preferences given during option entry. In each round, you will only be allotted one seat.

If you aren't willing to take up engineering, then it would be better for you to not select any of the engineering choices during option entry. In case you have been allotted a seat that you aren't satisfied with, you have the option to surrender/cancel the seat and try again for round 2 of seat allotment.
