In Lateral entry,I got General rank 1006 and GNGL 1009. Can I get admission in govt. college in CS/IT branch

Yes you might get government college but prediction cannot be done before hand so do undergo the counseling process careful so that you get the collge of your choice, also keep an eye on the vacancies in any college it helps.

Yes you can get admission in government college in CSE/ IT but there's no assurance for it. It depends on the state and university you are trying for. Do apply for other colleges as well.
