I didn't quite get that!. As I understand you want to change your mothers name in your current passport to your mother's name in 10th certificate I didn't get the latter half of the question pls clarify.

"To change your gender or your father's/mother's name, you have to apply for a "Re-issue" of passport and get the specified change done in personal particulars.
