Hello aspirant,
Your profile states that you are domiciled in Karnataka. If we look at the previous year cut off of the general category through state quota for government medical colleges, the last marks were 520 and the college allotted was Chikkaballapura Institute of Medical Sciences. Hence, with 550 marks there are good chances of you getting a government medical college through the state quota.
However, since you belong to the general category, you require at least 600+ to get admission in a government medical college in other states.
Hope it helps!
Hello Aspirant,
As per your profile you belongs to Karnataka so considering your domicile state as Karnataka, if not then kindly correct me in the comment section below.
Being a General category candidate it would be quite difficult for you to get any of the government medical college for MBBS through state quota counselling of Karnataka because cut-offs generally variates above 570-580 for general category candidates.
Through All India Quota, it is tad difficult to get admission to any of the government medical college for MBBS because there cut-off varies above 610-630 score out of 720 so competition is quite high and if you are seeking admission in government medical colleges then you need to have at least 580+ score in NEET UG 2022 for government colleges through state quota counselling of Karnataka and through All India Quota counselling you should try to secure at least 640+ out of 720 to get decent government college for MBBS.
