Placement Statistics :

  • Chemical Engineering - 84.85 %  (2020) and 92.31 %  (2019)
  • Civil Engineering - 74.65 %  (2020) and 73.97 %  (2019)

The percentage of getting a placement is higher in case of chemical engineering than civil engineering.

Else everything depends on your area of interest i.e. in which field you want to make your career. If you are considering the placements part only, then you may go with Chemical Engineering.

Good luck !
