Around 7,09,519 students took part in the JEE Main 2021 Session-3 examination across the country. Odisha saw 19,954 students appearing for the all-India engineering entrance exam. However, around 7% of students from Odisha who appeared for JEE (Main) have qualified for JEE (Advanced), the second stage of the entrance test for admission into the IITs. The percentage is far less than the national average of 12%.
