hey,

in order to be an engineer of any field you need to have an B.tech degree , no BCA graduates are known as engineers , i agree B.C.A and computer science engineering both are coding oriented courses but the one who have B.tech in computer science  known as engineer .

so if you are planning be a software engineer then i would suggest you to choose B.tech computer science

hope this helps

good luck!

Hi!!

First of all , if you want to be a software engineer then degree really doesnot matter at all but skills matter the most .. I want to say that If you have the required skills for software engineer then no one can stop you from becoming that..

But if you want me to tell then i will suggest you to go with Btech instead of BCA as Btech is a professional degree then more value then BCA ( But take in mind my above paragraph/point too)..

I hope it helps .. Thank you
