Hello aspirant,

To get an admission in private agriculture colleges, you can go through AP EAMCET/ TS EAMCET counselling. Also, if the college itself is conducting an entrance test for admission, then you should check the official website of that particular college and check the eligibility criteria for admission. Maybe they may not conduct the entrance test and can get you admission solely on marks obtained in matriculation as well as in intermediate level. On that ground, they will produce a merit list for admission of the candidates who are eligible. If you want to get an admission into any private college offering agricultural programs, then do surely visit the official website of the college and check the minimum eligibility criteria so as to get admission.

Hope, it helps you.

Hey!
Different private colleges have different modes of entrance. Some take admission through Icar test , somethrough their college specific entrance based , somethrough merit based while others even through merit based .
Following is the list of universities offering bsc agriculture
1. Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar
2. PAU: Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana.
3. LPU: Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab. I will recommend LPU as it is India's first private University to get ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) by Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. Apart from B.Sc. (Hons) agriculture the courses such as M.Sc. Ag. (Genetics & Plant Breeding), M.Sc. Ag. (Agronomy) and M.Sc. Ag. Horticulture (Fruit Science) programmes are also accredited to ICAR. LPU has over the years made a big name for itself on back of unmatched performance in developing industry consulted curriculum, software and technology trainings, massive state of the art infrastructure and placements. The course offered by different departments (theoretical and practical) is taught to the students on credit basis. Bachelor of Science in Agriculture also includes on farm RAWE (Rural Agriculture Work Experience) training and hands on experimental developing confidence in the graduating students of Agriculture
