Hi Nishith,
For admissions through NEET, 15% of the seats in every state are open for candidates from all parts of the country. This is called All India Quota. 85% are reserved for the students having domicile in that state. This is called State Quota. Inside the state quota, there is a reservation scheme which varies for every state. After the NEET exam, there will be a seat allotment process held by every state in which students can select their colleges and courses according to merit. the students having a higher rank will have a better chance to select the colleges and courses of their liking.
