Both the branches are identical but compared to Civil Engineering, I would suggest you take Electronic and Instrumentation Engineering because you will have more employment opportunities in this branch than civil. And moreover, EIE has got more ratings than civil engineering. Hence I would suggest you to go for EIE in Ramaiah Institute of Technology.

The faculties and staff there are well experienced. Although the placements is not that great for core branches like civil but you can always go for off campus placements.
