Yes MECHATRONICS course have been started from the year 2018. Experienced staff with field knowledge have been appointed. It has been surrounded with good environment.

YES, SONA COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY, SALEM has started the MECHATRONICS which is a 4 year programme comprising of 8 semesters.

teaching in sona college of engineering is fairly good but i would advise you to refrain from taking admission in mechatronics or any new branch for that matter as you would be unaware of the placement trend

Teaching is very good for SCT, however teachers ar enot experienced enlugh industrial wide.
Majorly teachers from Mechanical engineering have been allotted Mechtronics engineering slots.
Overall young professors havr been allotted responsibility.
Grooming is exceptionally good enough as interactive case studies an d presentation takes place.
