Jawaharlal Nehru technological university, Hyderabad, Telangana does not offer B.tech food technology. They only have doctorate course in food technology.

Some other best universities in Hyderabad that offer b.tech food technology are professor jayshankar Telangana state agricultural university, Hyderabad.
the eligibility to get admission in b.tech food technology A pass in two year Intermediate Examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University or Intermediate Board with the following subjects namely:

• Physical Sciences
• Mathematics

A candidate should have studied in a Non-Municipal Area for at least four years between 1 st class to Intermediate or its equivalent.

Minimum ONE acre of land either in the name of the parents or in the name of the candidates. If the land is owned by grandfather, grandmother or guardian or any other relations is not acceptable.

The candidates for admission to these courses shall be required to have completed 17 years of age with an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates, 25 years in respect of SC and ST candidates and 27 years for Physically Handicapped candidates as on 31st December of the year of admission.

The admission is given on the basis of TS EAMCET rank.
