If you are more inclined and enthusiastic about studying only computers, CSE is the better choice
. Otherwise, COE is also a good choice for overall development and knowledge. Both the courses have the same scope and placements in Thapar.
As far as the college records, placements and students reviews are concerned,
Computer Science
is the most demanding branch of THAPAR University, Patiala.
But only self hard work can fetch it, not by relying on teachers. From the placements point of view Many top companies, like De Shaw, Microsoft, and Apple, visited our campus. The highest salary package offered was 43 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 11 LPA.
