You should go back atleast by 1 year for Current Affairs because usually that is the usual norm. Most Appointments, awards happen once in a year. And we will have new recipients and new appointees from the last year. Though the International and National affairs move at a faster pace, we would still recommend you to go back upto atleast 12 months. Any legal amendments or laws that have been changed or brought into action should be of your interest. Sports, Politics, Arts, Climatic changes, etc should be our focus. Read Manorama Year book and the News Paper should be the best source of information for this. There might be a question or 2 about Article 371 for example, though it started around August last year. Current Affairs including General Knowledge: You will be given passages of upto 450 words and these passages are usually taken from News, Journalistic sources and nonfiction writing. The questions may include legal information or knowledge but do not need any additional knowledge of the law beyond the passage. This sections requires you to demonstrate knowledge of various aspects of current affairs and general knowledge including Contemporary events of significance at National and International Level, Arts and Culture, International Affairs and Historical Events.
As most of the sites refer to current affairs from may!
