Hi Candidate,

The following equation is of the type- Kx+ 2y=3      and the second equation is - 2x-4y= -6. So, as we know that for unique solution Condition, k/2=2/-4, so for unique solution, k=-1.

Now for No solution Condition, k2 is not equal to 2/-4, so k is not equal to -1. For infinite solutions condition, we have the condition that- k/2= 2/-4= 3/-6, so the value of k= -1.
