Correct Answer: They asked me if I had visited Delhi that winter.

Solution : The correct answer is option 1.

They asked me if I had visited Delhi that winter.

Explanation:

The given sentence can only have a yes or no response because it is an interrogative.

Therefore, "if/whether" can be used in an indirect manner.

Be aware that as direct speech becomes indirect, interrogative sentences become assertive.

As a result, 'had will' come right after subject 'l'. Additionally, "this" will become "that." As a result, choice A is the right response.

Direct Speech: They told me, "Have you visited Delhi this winter?"

Indirect Speech:They asked me if I had visited Delhi that winter.
