in the St Stephen college of Delhi University, students with hostel and without hostel have different fee structure in semesters. what is the reason ?

Dear aspirant,
Students who are staying in the hostel are required to pay their boarding expenses (food, utilities, security etc.) in addition to their tuition fee. The students who are not staying in the hostels are only required to pay for their tuition fee.
