in tnea counselling, the seat allocation process is based on overall or community rank?

Hello Aspirant ,

The TNEA counselling,allots seats based on the overall rank only.

The community rank appears to have absolutely no use at all .Although it will be useful for the seat allocation of the reserved classes like SC and ST.

The CBSE students have a lesser chance to attain a better cutoff when compared to the state board students ,therefore if you are a CBSE student it will be better to go for management quota seats.

To conclude and answering to only your question,the seat allocation is only based on the overall rank.
