Hello,

This can be happened because colleges reserve seats for second phase counselling and few seat are considered for B category. So mostly in second phase counselling those left out seats will be taken by the students who participate in second phase counselling. This can be one of the reason, And another reason can be your rank might be very high to get particular branch based on cutoff data.
